KItzbuhel and the human sacrifice.

It's long been said that when someone leaves the town of kitzbuhel at any time of the season it is seen by the snow gods as a human sacrifice and the past days have proven exactly that. On wednesday three of our good friends Timmy, Paddy and Jemery packed up and headed up to berlin. The result being two and a half days of consistant spring snow some falls being heavier than we have seen all season. So myself and the boys headed up thursday to see what was out there and we were pleasntly suprised with what we found, although we were dodging rocks and grass patches to get to the windblown areas we had a good time and the occasional face shot was scored for those who went low and hard enough.
Not bad for the 13th of April.
The Horn back in all it's glory, pretty good considering the day befory you could count the snow patches up there on one hand.
Mellis throwing buckets on the settled pow not as good as the day before but still lots of spring fun.
Mellis and Rick navagating the way out through the rock field.

Another snowbombing blog post

Well here it is the first blog post on this thing and the hottest topic on the blogs around here at the moment seems to be the last week that we spent in Mayrhofen working at the snowbombing festival.
So just to keep it short heres a few pics i took, which pretty much shows what went on in the week and a bit that we were there enjoy.

This years crew minus Miss Sophia Burger (think she was wizzing at photo time or something)
The Burger and Hep C about to kill it on the summer toboggan. That thing was loose!!
Probably the nicest accomadation we have had this year. This was the nice view that i got to look at heaps as i kept my infected leg elevated. Which pretty muched stoped any possibility of riding for me but gave me heaps of time to chill.

Finally i got up the hill with the guys just to chill in the sun but ended up riding a little and taking some pics
Houdini was showing us what he's got getting jibby all over the piste.

Finally on the last nite i got the camera out to snap Fat Boy Slim and his amazing lazer and light show it was pretty ripping. Last nite and finally it was our time to party.

On the way into town that nite we found this keller kid crawling out of this basement window and he promised to show us a good time and that he did.

He taught us the Hoff growl, how to rule a Mpreis beanie as a neckwarmer, Then use said neckwarmer and a sheepsskin combined with the growl to charm older Austrian women and just when we thought he couldnt show us anymore amazingness he tried to hijack a snowbombing volvo from the passanger side while the driver was still in the car. Needless to say it only took about 36 hrs of no sleep and drinking to reach this level of hilarity and eventhough there were other partys and even a staff party the next nite this effort is truly what snowbombing is about and only a very special few get to experience it in its full effect. Thanks Steamy for being amazing and all the other guys that stuck it out with him it was truly a day to remember.

Oh yeah and the Hep C almost got taken back to the UK when she got stuffed into some random car, before Hudini came to the rescue.. Good Times snowbombing see u next year.
